First Family Trip

Catherine, Avram and I took our very first trip as a family together on Saturday.  We had a great time.  We visited Evans Orchard in Georgetown to pick out pumpkins, drink some apple cider and look at the fall foliage.  Avram did especially well for the first little bit.  After a while, he wanted to call it quits… of course, it was about the time we started taking pictures.  Oh well, we were able to capture a few.

We all have out own pumpkin sitting outside the house.  His costume is picked out so check back soon for more picks after Halloween.  We will be taking a trip to Owensboro this weekend to show him off.  The drive is a bit longer this time.  Wish us all luck :)

Avram Bennett Crabtree

We are proud to announce and introduce Mr. Avram Bennett Crabtree.  He was born on September 30th 2011 at 11:09PM.  He weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces.  Taking after his father, you can see the giant, dark head of hair he is sporting.

We are so very proud to have him with us and finally able to see his face.  We appreciate everyone who was able to stop by and see him.  He is still adjusting to this new world… so please excuse us for not being very responsive to text phone calls and email.  We promise to get back with everyone as soon as possible and can not wait for everyone to be able to see this little rock star in person.  Pics are below… enjoy!

Baby Crabs’ Room

Baby Crabs’ nursery is complete and waiting for him.  Catherine has done an amazing job, cough – no thanks to Brandon – cough.  We have had just a few people ask if the room is complete and what it looks like.  So we decided to post some photos to show everyone what a great job Catherine did.  Click here for the pictures.

We are so, so ready for him to arrive.  It’s pretty much just a waiting game now!  We will update everyone via Facebook, Twitter, text message, email and phone.  I am sure everyone has one form of communication listed above.  Stay tuned!
