red carpet pre-exhibition reception

I had the honor of attending the Red Carpet event for the University of Kentucky/Dominican Republic Pre-Exhibition game at deSha’s. I was shooting video for CoachCal.com… mostly player entrances, interviews etc. It’s interesting being able to meet a few of the stars. Joe B. Hall is a character! He was cracking up with Meeks during an interview. I was able to record some great footage, pieced together by Chad Hobson.

The photos of the event can be found here. While I was filming, I was unable to take some pictures. Eric Lindsey, CoachCal.com editor, was able to snap a few shots. Afterwards, I performed some photo editing while Eric interviewed a few of the attendees.

All in all it was a great time; I definitely enjoy being part of the media crew from WebMedley.com working with CoachCal.com.

Cat was ready to have some maternity pics taken. I decided to take a few before we had some professionally done… a reminder, I am still an amateur She looks absolutely beautiful! It has nothing to do with the camera or photographer… just her. She definitely has that ‘glow.’ I never believed it. I do now. With baby crabs here in a couple on months (September 29th per our doctor), we definitely wanted these memories. So, enjoy!

I know I am a little late posting this. WebMedley has been rocking this month. Great improvements, new additions to the team and growing pains…. good growing pains.

Cat and I were able to spend the 4th of July with a few friends in Paris, Kentucky. We had a great time. Tara and Alex’s little one (Kyndra) seemed to enjoy them too. She seemed a lot calmer than than I thought should would have been. I encourage every one to check out the Paris Fire Department’s show next year. They do a great job and it is a pleasant, spacious environment… unlike downtown Lexington some years. You can tell I am getting old now.

Sadly, with me being an amateur and the night falling rather quickly, I was unable to capture that many pics that turned out well for development. I have discovered that I am horrible at taking pictures in the dark. The pictures below barley turned out… and they still don’t look that great with my ‘editing.’ They may even look worse. However, we were thankful to one attendee that offered to take a group picture of us.
